RCM Client Liaison

As an RCM Client Liaison, you will oversee a variety of RCM duties in support of the operating teams and clients. You will be responsible for leading teams in the collection cycle, maintaining accounts receivable best practices and monitoring team members’ duties and time allocations. Additionally, you will work directly with our clients to answer questions, provide solutions and communicate status updates. The RCM Client Liaison is an integral part of our RCM team which ensures we are meeting performance and quality assurance benchmarks.     


Specific job duties include:

  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with the client/practice and their management.
  • Works closely with the RCM Operations Manager and RCM Leads to address client/practice specific AR issues; identifies problem areas and through regular contact with practice and RCM Operations Manager and RCM Leads.
  • Manages client/practice inquiries ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Monitors client results weekly/monthly and communicates performance to the client/practice as well as review monthly/quarterly/annual AR performance, KPIs.
  • Reviews utilization with client/practice and works closely with RCM Leads and client/practice to ensure accurate capture of all revenue.
  • Works closely with the practice/client to address variances, barriers or concerns.
  • In partnership with operations, assesses the status of client accounts, identifies problem areas and through regular contact with the client communicates the areas in which Operations is expanding to help meet their goals.
  • Develops and presents appropriate practice communication plan for onsite meetings, considering complexity, practice desires.
  • Documents meeting results, providing practice feedback to Operations and Management.
  • Maintains healthcare industry, compliance, and HIPAA requirements and coding and billing standard knowledge when presenting to the practice.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Company policy.
  • Presents a positive, professional appearance and conveys a professional demeanor in the performance of assigned duties.

  • Conducts all business in a professional manner maintaining respect for individuals.
  • Complies with departmental and company-wide policies and procedures.


  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of medical billing experience
  • Exceptional communication (oral & written) skills.
  • Practical experience working with various levels of management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ​ICD-9/CPT/HCPCS coding and CCI edits
  • Familiar with insurance companies' processes and nuances regarding claim adjudication
  • Ability to analyze complex business and technology issues while understanding a client’s requirements
  • High energy with strong initiative, unquestionable reliability, and follow-through, self-directed and organized
  • Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed oriented with professional demeanor
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Comply with all HIPAA, OSHA and other regulatory requirements


  • Healthcare Billing experience with multi-specialty background
  • Certified Professional Coder
  • Bilingual (English/​Spanish) speaking and writing skills
  • Experience in the following software: Aprima® EHR, Allscripts MyWay® EHR, SalesForce
