Reporting to the Chief FInancial Officer, The Director of FP&A (FLSA exempt role) is responsible for leading DAS Health’s FP&A function. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, dashboards, scorecards, acquisition reporting, business intelligence, and other ad hoc financial and systems analysis. In addition, the role will participate in projects to support new company initiatives, process improvement, and automation.    

Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting analyses including variance and profitability analysis and management reporting packages. Deliver meaningful financial reports including written analysis articulating key drivers and trends.
  • Prepare quarterly Board of Directors presentations, financial analysis, provide operational analytics, and ensure cohesive deck and messaging provided to Board members.
  • Understand operational drivers of company margin and perform detailed analysis for monthly sales, contribution margins, opex and operational metrics (e.g., service tickets/hours, claims, etc.) by service line and for top customers. Present root cause analysis for department leaders, executives and the Board of Directors.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform reviews and track project performance. Interpret and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Lead process improvement projects and system implementations/enhancements including business intelligence (BI) tool analytics.
  • Support company acquisition and integration activities including operational and financial activities.
  • Develop financial models, participate on cross-functional project teams, and perform analysis to support strategic initiatives such as customer pricing and labor staffing models.
  • Lead development of Business Intelligence initiatives, including implementation and adoption throughout the company.
  • Function as an effective member of the team, assisting co-workers as needed and learning from colleagues and supervisors; support the goals of the organization; demonstrate initiative in the interest of the company and its customers.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information, exercising sound judgment and discretion in any disclosure of information related to the company and its endeavors.

Requirements:
  • An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • Audit or Quality of Earnings experience at regional or nation accounting firm is preferred.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • 10+ years of related accounting and financial analysis experience is required.
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office suite are required.
  • Experience with advanced data analytics and tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.) is preferred.
  • Connectwise experience is a plus.
  • Service and/or IT industry experience encouraged but not required
  • Private equity experience is a plus.
  • A hands-on, detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills.
  • A team player with the self-confidence, presence, and consultative skills to positively influence the business.
  • A tenacious, operationally-minded individual with a strong work ethic.
  • An orientation toward change management and process improvement initiatives.
