Healthcare Account Manager I - Remote
The Healthcare Account Manager I (FLSA exempt role) is responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. In this role, you'll serve as the main point of contact for clients, establishing strong relationships and understanding their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact to understand client needs, goals, and challenges.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned client accounts.
- Identify opportunities for account growth within existing client accounts.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop upselling and cross-selling strategies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and proactively propose solutions to drive client retention and revenue growth.
- Forecast and track key account metrics.
- Conduct regular account reviews, assess performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Address client concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve problems, exceed client expectations, and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of account management experience is required.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Ability to travel overnight, up to (20%).
- On-call availability for after-hours, as needed.
- Ability to work overtime hours to meet project deadlines as required.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Practical experience working with various levels of management.
- Ability to analyze complex business and technology issues while understanding a prospective client’s solution requirements.
- High energy with strong initiative, unquestionable reliability, and follow-through, self-directed and organized.
- Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and adaptable with regard to learning and understanding new technologies, and teaching them to end users at all levels.
- Detail oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage stressful situations.
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ PHI and e-PHI only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
