Licensing Specialist

DAS Health is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Licensing Specialist to join our growing Managed Services team. In this fully remote role, you’ll play a key part in managing software and hardware licensing operations for our internal teams and client base. Your work will help ensure accurate billing, maintain vendor compliance, support cost-saving initiatives, and drive operational efficiency across the board.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of licenses (software, hardware, and services) including usage, renewal dates, and costs
  • Review vendor invoices and resolve billing discrepancies to avoid overpayments
  • Ensure clients are billed accurately and consistently for their active licenses and services
  • Track upcoming license renewals and coordinate with internal stakeholders to prevent lapses or downtime
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through license consolidation, vendor negotiations, and volume discounts
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing agreements to avoid service interruptions and financial risk
  • Create reports on licensing costs, renewal schedules, and client revenue impact to support forecasting and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with account management, procurement, vCIOs, and operations to drive accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT asset management, software licensing, procurement, or billing operations
  • Experience working with an MSP or IT services organization is preferred
  • Familiarity with licensing from vendors such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Datto, Sophos, Meraki, Fortinet, RingCentral, and KnowBe4
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch discrepancies and optimize spending
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and/or other reporting tools for data analysis and forecasting
  • Clear and professional communication skills — written and verbal — to collaborate across teams and with vendors
